Client success roadmap

The build system behind every Wavy Sites project.

This roadmap turns a website from a random design into a business growth system: strategy, customer clarity, premium design, working forms, SEO/AEO/GEO, deployment, QA, and post-launch momentum.

Phase 01

Business discovery first.

A website starts with the business problem. Before design begins, identify the client’s customer, offer, location, proof, conversion goal, and what must be true for a visitor to trust the brand.

Business name, industry, service area, and customer type
Primary conversion goal and secondary conversion goal
Services, products, packages, or menu architecture
Assets, logos, photos, videos, reviews, and external links

Phase 02

Turn notes into a customer journey.

The homepage should guide visitors through a clear path: understand, trust, explore, decide, and convert. Every section should answer a real customer question.

Hero message explains what the business does in five seconds
Services are grouped by how customers search
Proof appears before the final call to action
Navigation stays simple and conversion-focused

Phase 03

Design for trust, not clutter.

The site should feel premium, clean, readable, and appropriate to the industry. Images must be sharp, sections must breathe, and mobile layout must look intentional.

Strong hero, consistent buttons, and visual hierarchy
Readable contrast and tap-friendly spacing
No awkward cropping, broken assets, or duplicated sections
Brand colors, logo, photos, and proof used with purpose

Phase 04

Choose the simplest stack that fully supports the job.

Static HTML/CSS/JS is perfect for lean service sites. React/Vite is useful for reusable components, catalogs, filters, and app-like interactions. Next.js or full-stack is for dynamic routes, databases, auth, and API needs.

Preserve working structure before rebuilding
Use reusable components or patterns where they help
Keep assets organized and paths deployment-safe
Avoid unnecessary complexity for simple business sites

Phase 05

Build for search, AI answers, and local visibility.

Every launch should include technical SEO, answer-ready content, local service-area language, structured data, sitemap, robots, image alt text, and useful FAQ content.

Title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2 hierarchy
LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Organization, or Product schema when appropriate
Service area and location language without keyword stuffing
Sitemap, robots file, Open Graph, and descriptive alt text

Phase 06

Forms must work, not just look good.

Quote and contact forms need correct markup, labels, required fields, a spam trap, and a real thank-you page. After deployment, submit a live test and confirm notifications.

Netlify-ready method, form name, hidden form-name, and honeypot
Accessible labels and reasonable required fields
Thank-you redirect included in the project
Live submission verified after deployment

Phase 07

Test before the client sees it.

QA protects the brand. Check desktop, mobile, links, images, forms, thank-you page, console errors, SEO tags, sitemap, robots, and deployment settings.

No horizontal overflow or broken mobile navigation
All links, CTAs, images, and forms tested
No placeholder text, fake claims, or unverified reviews
Build root, publish directory, and domain setup confirmed

Phase 08

Turn launch into ongoing growth.

After launch, the website becomes the hub for Google Business updates, social posts, before/after content, landing pages, review graphics, SEO expansion, and monthly reporting.

Google Business Profile and local directory consistency
Before/after and testimonial content plan
Landing page and Google Ads readiness
Monthly maintenance, reporting, and SEO improvements
